@$$hole! has updated, and so has my ACEN panel schedule
April 30th, 2010 | by TrevorHey gang, the people at ACEN have been kind enough to let me know some of the panels that I’ll for sure be on at this show. There may be more appearances coming, but for now I’ll certainly be at these – and you should be too!
FRIDAY
-1-2pm: Opening Ceremonies
-5-6pm: Marketing and Advertising your Comics: Doing what you love and following your passions can be hard. Trevor Mueller has two successful webcomics, The Temple of a Thousand Tears and @$$hole!, and he still works a daytime job in an advertising company. Who better to ask than him about advertising and marketing your comics?
SATURDAY
-11am-12pm: Trevor Mueller and the Panel that Shall Not be Named!: What ever shall I be talking about during this panel? Could be goofy con stories, could be writing advice, could be something embarassing that happened the night before – there’s only one way to find out!
-5:30-6:30pm: How to Create a Webcomic: Have you ever thought about starting up your own webcomic, but you don’t know where to start? This panel will cover the basics of whether or not to use webcomic hosting sites, positives and negatives of working with others, and why every comic should have a script to accompany it.
SUNDAY
-10-11am: Reading With Pictures: Guests Russell Lissau, Josh Elder and Trevor Mueller will talk about their latest exciting project, the READING WITH PICTURES anthology and the organization that bears its name. “RWP: Getting comics into schools and schools into comics…”

Also, @$$hole! updated with a brand new page. Be sure to check it out!
The comics have been updating on time, I’ve just been swamped playing host to the greatest group of friends in the world. This past weekend was C2E2, and I had Russell Lissau, Joe Dunn, Phil Chan, Steve Wallace, and the brother’s Heinowski staying with me for the event. It was a fun time, and great to get to hang out with my comic friends.
And entire weekend of geeking out with your best buds is fantastic…but also exhausting.
I plan to do a convention review soon (once I finish compiling pictures from everyone), so be on the look out. In the meantime, be sure to check out last week’s @$$hole! pages as well as today’s Temple page.
Later!

@$$hole!: Jess and Trevor Forever 11
January 8th, 2010 | by TrevorJust a reminder, I’m being interviewed by TGT Webcomics on January 12 at 8pm central time. If you tune in live, you can ask questions either by calling in or by posting them in the talkshoe chat. The show requires that I give away a spoiler, so perhaps something juicy will be revealed! Be sure to check it out.
It seems like Jessica’s opinion has been changed by the magical hat. Her and Amanda may be teaming up to try to get Trevor to reciprocate the warm and fuzzy emotions. Let’s see if they are successful!

January 6th, 2010 | by TrevorHey gang, I hope you all had a great new years!
My book signing for Indy Comic Book Week was my most successful of all of my appearances so far. In the 4 hours that I was signing I sold more books than I did at the book’s premiere! Plus, I met some awesome fans – new and old. It was a great time, and I will certainly be doing more signings in the near future.

I’m putting together my convention schedule for the year, and will be announcing that soon enough. I may be hitting a convention every month, especially in the mid-west region.
Alright, I’m off to get through this week of work (the week after holidays is also very stressful, but I’m hoping that it’ll only be crazy for a week…two at the most). See you all Friday!
Nominate TrevorAMueller.com in the 2009 Web Comic List Reader’s Choice Awards (no need to sign up, but it helps if you put in some info so they know you’re not a spambot). I’d take any nominations, but I’m specifically looking for:
- Best Writing
- The Innovation Award
- Best Supporting Character – Susie (or the crazy cat lady…or the waiter)

First official page. It’s a dream sequence. Foreshadowing and all that.
Back to planning.

Ever since the 2008 Drunk Duck Awards people have been asking when Jess and Trevor would get together. However, there was a problem with her being in Texas and me being in (originally Michigan) Chicago. Ideas were instantly thrown around about starting a separate web comic series where the two of us would be dating online and would eventually get together in real life, but were just as quickly abandoned.
(…to be continued until Friday…)
