I’ve been running around trying to get my buffer back up, since I basically haven’t been able to work on comics for the last month or so. I have house guests coming to visit soon, and I want to make sure that I have enough to cover the time that they’re here so we can hang out and have fun. I won’t say who’s coming just yet, because I don’t want to ruin the surprise…but let’s just say that we’ll be working on this comic when they do show up, and it’s going to be hilarious!
But enough of a teaser. I want to be serious for a moment and wish Lora Innes (The Dreamer) and Bryan Glass (Mice Templar) good luck at the 2009 Harvey Awards, which are going to be announced at Baltimore Comic Con this weekend! I expect a text message or a phone call when you win. I don’t need to be the first one you contact, but I’d like to know since I’m unable to be there. They’re up against each other in the same category, but Lora also has been nominated in a second category, so it’s an exciting time. My best wishes to you both.

How the worm turns, though I’m not sure that the ‘out of sight, out of mind,’ is going to work in like, two seconds. lol I give the waiter points for trying though. And wow, that must’ve been hard for the actors to keep still from the second to third panel, or the photographer was just quick with the trigger.
Erica has a professional camera and lighting rig, since she’s a photographer by trade, and if you touch the button even slightly it automatically takes like 5 pictures. It’s amazing. If you look at the raw files, it’s almost like an animation.
