An opportunity to close out the convention season at home.

My final convention appearance of the year was a local library show, and a relaxing way to finish off the year and con season. I came into the show to set up, and chatted up the librarians – who were asking me for the latest copy of my book, but also for recommendations for other books they may want to order for the library. My buddies Russell Lissau and Mark Stegabauer were also at the con, and a lot of local artists and friends that I only really get to see at local events like this.

I saw a lot of old coworkers who live in the area, some friends from my kid’s daycare, and so many cosplayers (including the cutest little kid dressed up as Yoda…yeah, that’s right, Baby Yoda BEFORE Disney+ ever even launched).

Library shows like this are fun for the whole family, appropriate for all ages, and something I encourage everyone to attend or try to exhibit at since their such fun (and also, it’s supporting your local library)!
