In the meantime, there are things brewing in the comic world. I’m gearing up for April conventions – lots of work to get done before those shows, which are some of my biggest shows of the year. There’s a lot of discussion going on in the ACEN forums surrounding possible panels, topics, and funny stories from past shows.
At the same time, I’m trying to get the new Albert book out. The printer has sent through proofs, and we have a few tweaks to make before it goes into final production. Lots of work to get done, but it’ll be a lot of fun too.

C2E2 – Chicago, Il – April 13-15
The Chicago Comic Show with all the big publishers. Be sure to come see your favorite bald men (and hopefully they’re not all named Brian or Grant). I’ll be at the Reading with Pictures booth all weekend, and also providing much of the children’s programming. And premiering the new Albert the Alien book! Be sure to check it out!
ACEN – Rosemont, Il – April 27-29
My favorite show of the year, since it’s basically a big long party all weekend. Which never ends, and you never want it to. There’s something to do the whole weekend, be it anime watching, gaming, panels, or just coming into artist alley and buying my books. It’s the show that never sleeps. Hope to see you there!
